A fictional magazine becomes an exhibition about contemporary aspiration in Seoul.
About
Inspired by Georges Perec's Things, X-Press Seoul reimagines a fictional magazine as an exhibition exploring material aspirations in contemporary Seoul. Through the perspective of a young woman living in Seoul, the project reflects on everyday desires, consumption, and the idea of a better life.
Developed the exhibition proposal and secured funding for its execution, working with artists and curators throughout the project.
Supported by Seoul Metropolitan Government Arts Council.
